The Team Public Cloud (Prisma) - As the leader of the Public Cloud Security team, you will be responsible for building products that protect data, workloads, and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. We help the customers in their transitional journey to the cloud by ensuring they have the best-in-class protection. The cloud market has been growing at a rapid rate for the last few years. As more and more enterprises use public cloud, there is an insatiable demand for securing workloads in the public cloud. With our recent acquisition of Prisma Public Cloud, formerly RedLock™, and Evident.io, Palo Alto Networks is the reigning market leader.
Job Summary
As a Staff Software Frontend Engineer on the Prisma AIRS Red Teaming team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI security. You will work on the architectural design and implementation of cutting-edge frontend solutions, translating complex user needs into intuitive interfaces. Working closely with a diverse team of product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers, you will drive technical excellence and establish best practices to make a significant impact on a product that is redefining how organizations secure their AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop highly graphical and scalable web application features that offer customers insights into their red teaming engagements and provide actionable solution suggestions. Analyze complex red teaming problems, evaluate in-depth requirements, and apply advanced engineering techniques to achieve high-quality results. Proactively identify problems and opportunities, proposing and developing simple, attainable solutions to enhance team development processes and product quality. Lead collaborative discussions with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to ensure alignment and create synergy for product features. Serve as a role model by establishing and implementing engineering best practices, including test-driven development, for red teaming solutions. Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the frontend team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience. Expertise in building web-based GUIs with ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Proven experience with modern web frameworks and build tools such as React, Hooks, Webpack, Vite, and Storybook. Experience with client-side build tools and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab. Preferred
