Java UI Developer

Responsible for the design and development of functional and elegant user interfaces for the GRIDmaster suite of applications. • Work with GRIDmaster team members to formulate functional requirements for user interfaces and transform them into technical requirements. • Assist the senior developers and technical lead in preparing specification and design documents when required. • Identify implementable tasks from the requirements; define milestones for each task. • Implement and test software modules to the design using OOAD techniques. • Develop high quality code components in Java, Javascript, HTML and CSS . • Follow company polices and coding standards. • Identify and report any technical/software issues and concerns to the team lead and help resolve them as soon as possible. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of 2-4 years of software design and development experience. • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. • Strong user interface design skills. • Programming experience in Java, Javascript, HTML and CSS • Experience in using GWT, GXT, Google Maps API • Experience developing and testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms • Development experience with Eclipse IDE and Linux. • Excellent communication and writing skills.

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
