Job Description
The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs.
As a Maintenance Engineer Trainee, your development will take place through a 15-month structured on-the-job training programme within our Engineering team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and utility systems, contributing to equipment troubleshooting, reliability initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. What You’ll Do Support preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and utility systems. Assist with equipment troubleshooting, breakdown investigations and the implementation of corrective actions. Support maintenance planning, work order management and documentation within the CMMS. Participate in maintenance shutdowns, inspections and equipment improvement activities. Assist with equipment reliability initiatives, root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects. Support data collection, trend analysis and maintenance optimization activities. Participate in change controls, CAPA implementation and engineering improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Participate in structured training and on-the-job learning to develop technical, maintenance and reliability competencies. Work closely with engineers, technicians and cross-functional teams to build practical maintenance experience. Demonstrate continuous learning, teamwork and professional development to support future growth in engineering. Carry out other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Develop a foundation in equipment reliability, data-driven problem-solving and continuous improvement to support your future growth in engineering.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Prior experience in rotating and static equipment maintenance is an advantage. Knowledge of CMMS, reliability principles, cGMP requirements and predictive maintenance strategies is an advantage, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, planning and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technicians, external contractors and cross-functional teams.
