ALL ABOUT ASSETS PROTECTION The job of A ssets P rotection (AP) teams is to keep our guests, team and brand secure and lead through crisis events. They protect profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks, preventing, theft and fraud to ensure products are available for our guest . They also build relationships inside and outside of Target including store leaders and public safety officials, including law enforcement. The role of Executive Team Leader - Assets Protection can provide you with the skills and experience of : C reating and managing a security culture, including crisis response, a strong safety environment and crowd - management planning and providing support to both guests and team members Lead ing strategic AP goals and strategies and delivering results through your team I dentifying and developing strategic resolutions of external theft and fraud and apprehending individuals attempting to cause a loss consistent with Target policy Planning and conducting internal and external investigations , from identification through resolution R ecruiting, selecting , retaining , development and talent management of hourly team members and leaders As Executive Team Leader - Assets Protection , no two days are ever the same, but a typical day most likely will include the following responsibilities: Consistently delivers guest experience commitments Holds TLs accountable to deliver exceptional guest experiences through consistent accountability, team development, training and recognition. Celebrates outstanding guest experiences across teams and ensures recognition is consistent and meaningful. Reviews area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify gaps and understand team behaviors. Celebrates wins, sets clear priorities, and leads actions that drive results and enhance the guest experience. Partners across teams to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience. Establish, m anage , influence and validate a secur ity culture by driving and improving physical security processes. L ead store response to emergency and crisis situations and develop security plans for in-store events . Educate store leaders and teams on emergency preparedness and phy sical security procedures . Identify shortage risks in key areas and develop strateg ies and tactics to reduce shor tage and drive profitable sales . Drive total store sales and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and
