Join Veritas, a Business of Oliver Wyman specializing in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM), as a Consultant with at least 2 years of experience in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) landscape. In this role, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to help energy and commodity trading organizations solve complex business and technology challenges, shaping scalable solutions across trading, risk, operations, data, and technology. We Have: Multidisciplinary delivery teams comprising consultants, developers, architects, data engineers, testers, and client stakeholders Complex ETRM implementation, upgrade, integration, migration, and optimization programs A culture that challenges conventional thinking and delivers innovative, customized solutions with tangible client impact You Bring: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, engineering, finance, economics, business or a related field At least 2 years of relevant experience in ETRM consulting, implementation, application support or commodity-trading technology Consulting Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with close attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to maintain momentum in complex delivery environments and, respect confidentiality. Functional Knowledge A good understanding of the energy and commodity trading lifecycle across front, middle and back office, including trade capture, valuation, position, P&L, risk, scheduling, logistics, settlement, tax and accounting Experience in one or more commodities, such as gas, power, LNG, crude, refined products, renewables, environmental products, agriculture or metals Experience delivering assigned functional or technical activities within an ETRM project Hands-on experience configuring ETRM reference data, transaction structures, price curves, matching rules or operational workflows Cultural Fit A high level of energy Motivation to collaborate, learn, and improve Drive to make an impact Ability to organize complex problems into a clear plan of action We Also Value: Application Knowledge Hands-on experience on at least one leading ETRM platform, with Openlink Endur strongly preferred, followed by RightAngle and Allegro Exposure to additional platforms such as ENTRADE, Fusion or Beacon would be good to have. Technical Skills A solid foundation in object-oriented programming, with hands-on experience in Java, C# or Python fundamentals Basic to working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and ETRM data models, together with basic experience of SQL or NoSQL databases and web services Exposure to DevOps and a cloud fundamentals certification, such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Understanding of APIs, interfaces, batch processing, reporting, and ETRM configuration, and
