JOB SUMMARY The Account Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through the proactive solicitation, development, and management of business opportunities across both the Luxury Leisure and Group & Events segments. The role requires a commercially driven sales professional who can identify new business opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and build long-term customer relationships that contribute to the achievement of hotel revenue goals. The Account Director will focus on increasing market share and revenue from luxury leisure travel, including consortia, travel advisors, luxury wholesalers, and high-net-worth traveller segments, while also developing and converting corporate group, incentive, and event business. Working closely with Marriott's global sales network and internal stakeholders, the Account Director will execute targeted sales strategies that position the hotel as a leading luxury destination in London and deliver both short and long-term revenue growth. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Key Attributes and Experience ▪ Proven sales or client facing professional with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry ▪ Marriott Sales experience would be an advantage but not essential. ▪ Five star experience desirable. ▪ Understanding of luxury hospitality preferred. ▪ Previous account director or senior sales manager experience preferred. ▪ Education to degree or equivalent ▪ Passionately driven towards revenue goals ▪ Polished and professional communication skills – verbal and written ▪ Excellent standards of personal presentation SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE ▪ Ability to understand and execute and support Marriott Customer Service Standards and Marriott Brand Standards ▪ Ability to work collaboratively with hotel service team in
