Job Purpose: The Junior HSE Engineer will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements at the project site, ensuring compliance with Company/Client HSE procedures, applicable UAE regulations and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support implementation of the Project HSE Management System, procedures and site HSE requirements. Conduct routine site HSE inspections, safety walks and observations and follow up identified corrective actions. Assist in identifying workplace hazards and participate in Risk Assessments, TRA/JSA and toolbox talks. Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), PPE, lifting, working at height, confined-space and other critical safety requirements. Support monitoring of contractor and subcontractor HSE performance and report unsafe acts and conditions. Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, emergency drills and site awareness programs. Assist with incident/near-miss reporting, investigation, root-cause identification and corrective-action tracking. Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, observations, statistics and other project HSE documentation. Support environmental compliance, waste management and pollution-prevention activities at site. Coordinate with construction, operations, contractors and HSE personnel to promote a strong safety culture. Exercise Stop Work Authority and immediately report potentially unsafe or hazardous conditions. Perform other HSE duties assigned by the Senior HSE Engineer/HSE Manager. Qualifications : UAE National. A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of three (3+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
