You Are You have spent the better part of a decade building CAD infrastructure that has to hold up under real silicon development pressure, not just proof-of-concept demos or similar domains. You know that the difference between a flow that gets adopted and one that gets worked around is usually in the details no one else thought about. Lately, you have been watching the explosion of agentic AI and LLM orchestration, and instead of seeing hype, you see exactly how autonomous agents could transform the way IP gets designed, verified, and managed across its lifecycle. You are someone who can sit with IP designers who need faster turnaround on design and verification and walk out with a multi-agent workflow spec that actually solves their problem. You do not wait for the AI platform team to tell you what is possible. You prototype, you integrate, you prove the concept, and then you scale it. You have strong opinions about what makes infrastructure scalable, and you are not afraid to push back when a proposed solution will not survive the challenges of a scalable production use. At Synopsys, you will work at the center of Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) IP development in the AI Center of Excellence team, architecting AI Infrastructure, building Agents from scratch, leveraging when possible and customizing to the team needs. The problems are hard, the scale is real, and what you build will reshape how thousands of engineers work.

What You'll Be Doing

Architect and define the next generation of AI-powered CAD infrastructure for Silicon IP development, building and integrating autonomous agents into core design and verification workflows Build Agentic frameworks and Agents to improve Engineering productivity of the organization Deploy and operationalize Synopsys' global Agentic AI platform directly into the SLM IP development loop, building orchestration layers that connect LLMs, agents, and EDA toolchains across design, verification, synthesis, PnR, and timing Design multi-agent workflows that automate IP design tasks, verification loops, and lifecycle analytics, turning manual bottlenecks into autonomous, scalable processes Partner with IP design teams, CAD engineers, and global AI platform teams to align architecture with real engineering needs and deployment constraints Build and maintain the infrastructure layer that connects silicon design phases with AI-driven automation, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across the full IP lifecycle Prototype, test, and validate new AI-CAD integrations in live development environments, iterating based on feedback from design teams and measurable workflow improvements Drive technical strategy and roadmap for AI-augmented CAD systems within SLM, translating emerging AI capabilities into concrete engineering solutions Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering best practices The Impact You Will Have Enable IP design and verification teams to move faster by automating repetitive, high-friction tasks through intelligent agent-driven workflows Reduce time-to-market for SLM IP by building scalable CAD infrastructure that adapts to design complexity without linear increases in manual effort Set the technical foundation for how Synopsys integrates agentic AI into silicon development, influencing architecture decisions across the broader EDA organization Improve design quality and lifecycle visibility by embedding AI-driven analytics and telemetry into the core IP
