The Vice President, Global Infrastructure & Operations is accountable for the global strategy, operating model, financial performance, resilience, and modernization of RGA's enterprise infrastructure services across data centers, private cloud, public cloud, network, identity, and infrastructure operations. The role leads a geographically dispersed organization and strategic partners delivering secure, scalable, highly available, and cost effective services supporting RGA's global business operations. Working closely across Global Technology, Global Security, Enterprise Architecture, and business leadership, the Vice President, Global Infrastructure & Operations translates enterprise priorities into multi-year infrastructure roadmaps and is accountable for execution, service performance, risk reduction, and measurable business outcomes. Principle Duties: Define and execute the global Infrastructure & Operations strategy, multi-year roadmaps, and operating model in alignment with enterprise business, technology, security, and risk priorities. Provide end-to-end leadership and accountability for RGA’s data center, private cloud, public cloud, network, identity, and infrastructure operations services, including delivery through internal teams and strategic partners. Ensure the resilience, availability, security, scalability, and cost effectiveness of global infrastructure services. Establish service-level objectives, operational performance measures, and executive reporting, and drive sustained improvement in service reliability and customer outcomes. Lead infrastructure modernization and transformation across hybrid cloud and globally distributed environments. Translate emerging technology and market capabilities into pragmatic investment strategies that improve agility, automation, resilience, and business value. Provide financial stewardship for a significant global technology portfolio, including annual planning, forecasting, investment prioritization, vendor strategy, commercial negotiations, consumption management, and delivery of cost optimization commitments. Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing, geographically dispersed leadership team and organization. Establish clear accountability, succession plans, workforce strategies, and an operating culture centered on ownership, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. Partner with Enterprise Architecture, the Global Security and Privacy Office, Global Technology Delivery Centers, application and engineering leaders, and business stakeholders to establish infrastructure standards, manage technology lifecycle and risk, and enable timely delivery of enterprise initiatives Provide executive leadership during major technology incidents and recovery events. Ensure crisis management, disaster recovery, operational resilience, and remediation programs are tested, governed, and aligned with business expectations. Govern a portfolio of complex, enterprise-scale programs and strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery against approved scope, schedule, financial commitments, risk tolerances, and measurable outcomes. Serve as a senior advisor to the Chief Technology Officer and Global Technology leadership on infrastructure strategy, operational risk, investment priorities, sourcing decisions, and technology transformation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent
