We are seeking a Mission Crew Trainer (MCT) Technical Architect to work onsite in Sterling, VA. This position requires US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a US security clearance. In this position, you will have the opportunity to mentor and grow under one of the training industry's top, most respected architects as he transitions responsibility for a training device on a once-in-a-lifetime, generational program. What You Will Do : Define Mission Crew Trainer architecture and overall technical approach: Define the technical boundaries and establish guardrails that establish design space to allow the team to meet the customer requirements. Develop a physical and logical architecture that provides a solution that supports an iterative definition of requirements that minimizes rework and allows for expansion over time. Collaborate with Aircraft Mission System Integrated Product Teams: Incorporate aircraft mission system architecture into the MCT to establish a high-fidelity simulation to train mission aircrew. Lead technical innovation: Drive technological advancements and recommend solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the simulation systems. Oversee system integration and design : Serve as the authority for integrating multi-disciplinary engineering components, ensuring seamless technical cohesion. Collaborate with stakeholders: Interface with customers and internal teams to translate mission needs into comprehensive technical solutions and system designs. Guide technical execution: Provide strategic guidance and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements development to final delivery in alignment with Project Engineer. Perform trade studies and analysis: Evaluate design alternatives, technologies, and methodologies to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness. Mentor and inspire engineering teams: Lead by example, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Ensure technical compliance: Maintain adherence to RTX Lifecycle Management Systems and industry standards while ensuring the highest quality of deliverables.
