Location Singapore Department Global Procurement, Front-End Materials Procurement Operations Project Title AI-Enabled Procurement Analytics and Process Transformation Project Description The Global Procurement team contributes to Micron’s growth by advancing total-cost effectiveness, supply-chain resilience, predictive capabilities, risk analysis, sustainability, and supplier diversity. The team provides a skills-based learning environment in which team members can develop capabilities, explore career pathways, and collaborate across a global organization. The intern will undertake a structured procurement transformation project involving data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and automation. The project will provide practical exposure to procurement systems, supply-chain data, inventory analysis, workflow improvement, and Agentic AI while contributing to improved visibility and decision-making within Front-End Materials Procurement Operations. Objective of the Project Develop an AI-Enabled tracking and analytics solution for selected procurement and supply-chain activities. Analyze procurement workflows, data, and inventory indicators to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities. Apply Agentic AI, data visualization, or robotic process automation to improve information visibility and process efficiency. Develop procurement, analytical, digital, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities through a defined learning project. Opportunities for Full Time Employment . Project Scope Procurement systems and analytics: Develop or enhance procurement tools, dashboards, and analytical processes to improve visibility and decision-making. Agentic AI and data insights: Develop an Agentic AI solution to analyze procurement and supply-chain data and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas. Process excellence: Review selected workflows with cross-functional stakeholders and design improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and transparency. Inventory and supply analysis: Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, material risks, shortages, delivery concerns, and related follow-up information as part of the defined project. Learning Opportunities Gain practical exposure to materials procurement, supply-chain operations, inventory concepts, and supplier-related risk analysis. Learn to translate business requirements and procurement data into dashboards, analytical insights, and process improvements. Develop familiarity with Agentic AI, Artificial Intelligence tools, data visualization, robotic process automation, and AI-Enabled workflows. Collaborate with procurement, supply-chain, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment. Deliverables A functional tracking and analytics solution that improves visibility of selected procurement strategies, risks, or performance indicators. An Agentic AI, dashboard, or automation prototype addressing a defined procurement operations challenge. A documented review of the selected workflow, including implemented improvements, evaluation results, risks, and recommendations.
