Role summary Designs, develops, tests, and supports the services and integrations behind Agora applications and workflows. The role works across APIs, databases, messaging, enterprise integrations, and cloud services to deliver reliable and supportable capabilities.

Develop and maintain back-end services, REST APIs, microservices, and integration components. Implement business logic, data access, system integrations, and event-driven processing. Investigate and resolve service defects, integration failures, data issues, performance problems, and production incidents. Develop or maintain automated API, integration, regression, and validation tests. Contribute to monitoring, logging, telemetry, deployment pipelines, and operational diagnostics. Participate in code reviews, technical estimation, sprint planning, releases, and stabilization activities. Collaborate with front-end, quality, architecture, product, operations, and external-system teams. Core capabilities Experience with REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations. Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or comparable back-end development technologies. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, messaging, and event-driven processing. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, plus CI/CD and release management. Strong debugging skills across services, data, integrations, authentication, and cloud environments. #LI-LATAM Qualifications 2+ years of relevant experience in back-end, API, integration, or application development. Strong hands-on delivery experience is more important than a longer tenure requirement. College degree, diploma, or equivalent post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. Hands-on capability with a server-side language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a comparable technology, plus practical experience with REST APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, integrations or messaging, automated testing, and debugging service or data issues. Cloud, API, database, DevOps, or related technical certifications are beneficial but not required.
