We provide training systems for the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.   The Work This position is for a Lead Hardware Engineer supporting programs in the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) area. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will: • Coach and lead electrical and mechanical engineers • Interface with Program Manager/Engineering Program Manager • Ensure project milestones and commitments are met • Develop hardware systems/subsystems    Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications 
 • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other Engineering related discipline • Experience with mechanical/electrical design and troubleshooting • Experience working with 3D models and proficiency in electrical schematic interpretation • Knowledgeable in Hardware Engineering processes and tools such as CREO or SolidWorks or similar tools Desired Skills 
 • CAM experience • Proficiency in authoring BOEs, Costing BOMs, and Proposal Process • Experience with Engineering Change Control Processes • Working knowledge of Agile terms and methodologies • Prior Automated Test Equipment/Special Test Equipment experience • Experience with product development or manufacturing • Proficient in Windchill/EPDM Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
