What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Graduate Manufacturing Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following: Project work supporting process improvements in the Manufacturing Engineering ecosystem Daily Manufacturing Engineer operations, including work order management, implementation of work process improvements to address non-conformities, and providing shop-floor engineering support to operations and quality. You will gain proficiency in Airbus manufacturing engineering computer systems, such as document control systems, SAP Manufacturing Execution System, Zamiz, and more. You will learn how to incorporate engineering principles and analysis in a manufacturing environment, where the design of the aircraft comes to life, as well as develop critical interpersonal skills as you interact with colleagues on the shop floor, in the local engineering offices, and with colleagues in our European Manufacturing Engineer centers. Throughout this program, you will develop as a professional through a series of rotational placements designed to support your professional development. Placements could include: different phases of the manufacturing process as an Manufacturing Engineer, rotations through the quality department, or in adjacent departments and/or sites dependent on your personal development needs as determined by you and your manager.
