Event Planner- JLL What this job involves: As a key member of JLL's Experience Services team, you'll be dedicated to creating exceptional client experiences through meticulous event planning and execution. This role encompasses planning and executing both internal and external events—from décor and entertainment to location selection, invitee management, equipment coordination, and promotional materials. You'll manage the complete event lifecycle from initial consultation through post-event analysis, delivering high-touch, hospitality-focused service that reflects our commitment to excellence. Your expertise will be essential in orchestrating high-profile events involving senior executives, including C-suite interactions, where attention to detail and professional polish are paramount. What your day-to-day will look like: • Execute simple and full-scale meetings and events from start to finish, including high-profile events with C-suite participation, ensuring flawless delivery at every touchpoint • Consult with clients on space planning, audiovisual requirements, and comprehensive event support needs while acting as the primary client point of contact and meeting service level agreements • Manage end-to-end event planning in collaboration with the Culinary team and coordinate with Internal Business Partners on attendee counts, dietary requirements, and event timelines • Manage the complete ticket lifecycle with Internal Business Partners, including communication, triage, and resolution while logging tickets across culinary, janitorial, HVAC, moves/adds/changes, and guest services • Triage incoming event requests for completeness, space availability, and resource requirements while coordinating Certificate of Insurance administration and ensuring legal, health, and safety compliance • Direct vendors, facilities staff, and caterers for seamless execution while providing minor audiovisual support including microphone setup, sound management, and plug-and-play connectivity • Oversee day-of coordination including floor moves, janitorial setup, guest greeting and wayfinding, coat check services, and environmental controls such as lighting and temperature adjustments Required qualifications: • HS diploma or GED • 5 years of professional experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, or related field • Flexible schedule with availability for early morning, evening, and weekend work as event schedules require • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail • Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities with demonstrated ability to work within budget parameters • Strong time management, communication, multitasking, and customer service skills with ability to manage competing priorities • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack for seamless team collaboration and communication Preferred qualifications: • Experience with Corrigo, Google Calendar, and Social Tables or similar event management platforms • Comfort level working directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership in high-stakes
