We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. Our Warehouse Floaters make $27/ HR. We are looking for Warehouse Floaters who relish the chance to push their potential, grow and reap the rewards of joining the US FOODS® family. Pay: $27.00/hr Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Sunday: 5pm - Finish Monday - Thursday: 6pm - finish What You Bring to the Table Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed Able to work 12-hour shifts Operate forklift/reach truck to lower stock to ground level pick slots from higher level reserve slots Weekends are Required Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, and lift controls Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc. Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred Prior experience operating a forklift/high-lift is REQUIRED Work continually in cooler (35°F- 45°F) & freezer (-10°F to +10°F), company apparel provided Physical Requirements Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required What You Bring to the Table Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc. Experience with Inventory softwares (Tandum/Blue Yonder) preferred Strong computer literacy skills preferred Experience operating motorized pallet jack, forklift or similar equipment preferred Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other
