Assembler III (2nd Shift)

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembler III (2nd Shift) at our El Paso, TX location! The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential. The hours for this shift are 4:00pm-12:45am. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.  This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.   Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Why work at Eaton?  The Assembler III is responsible for a wide range of skills including assembling, fitting and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly required for testing preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.   In this function, you will: •    Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions and engineering drawings. •    Use various tools, such as an impact gun, sidewinder, and drill to perform the assembly of switchboards. •    Handle materials by following established procedures. •    Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages. •    Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar. •    Perform other functions and/or tasks as assigned •    Flexing into other functions of the business •    Ability to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgency Qualifications: 
   Basic Qualifications: •    1 year of internal switchboard manufacturing experience or 2 Assembler II certifications.  •    Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
