This role can be filled at either the Senior Accountant or Accounting Project Manager level.  Specific job overviews and duties are provided below for each level.  Note:  This role has excellent visibility and growth potential within Dominion Energy. Senior Accountant Overview :  The highly visible role is primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual footnote disclosures for all of Dominion Energy’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants and subsidiaries with financial statement req uirements and for the preparation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements for other applicable reporting entities. The candidate must be highly motivated and able to work collab oratively in a team environment. A key aspect of this role is developing relationships across various departments at Dominion Energy to gather information relevant to financial reporting. Further, the candidate must be able to analyze and review information provided by others or internally prepared in order to draft relevant disclosures. This position requires a candidate that is able to problem solve and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be willing to contribute to innovation and process-improvement. Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to understand and analyze technical GAAP/SEC guidance are critical. Specific duties include:

Preparation of financial statements and disclosures, as assigned, for potential inclusion in Form 10-K/Q, other filings with the SEC and/or other applicable reporting requirements; Create and maintain appropriate supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable internal control requirements; Review information prepared and/or provided by others to be included in various filings; Analyze compliance with disclosure requirements; Evaluate disclosure requirements related to Dominion Energy’s business events; Review XBRL associated with certain SEC filings; Routinely coordinate with various teams within Dominion Energy, such as segment accounting groups, corporate accounting and investor relations, as it pertains to financial reporting needs; Coordinate with internal and external auditors;  Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Accounting Project Manager Overview :  In addition to the Senior Accountant duties above, the Accounting Project Manager role will have a focus on unique events and/or complex transactions as well as the evaluation of compliance with existing GAAP and/or SEC disclosure guidance and the application of new or updated GAAP and/or SEC guidance. In addition, the position supports other transactions carried out by Dominion Energy, including capital market transactions (debt and equity offerings) and acquisitions and dispositions.  The ability to critically analyze and effectively summarize information into an SEC disclosure and/or management-level summary is paramount.
