Title: Process Control Technician Location: Charleston, TN Salary: $86,000-$115,000 Schedule: 9/80 available The Process Control Technician plays a critical role in supporting Olin’s business objectives by providing DCS and process controls support for ongoing and new operations and supporting DCS and process control-oriented capital projects . This position collaborates across teams to deliver results that drive safety, performance, and operational excellence. What You’ll Do Provide DCS and process controls engineering support of ongoing and new operations Interface with contractors and various crafts on multiple project installations. Assist areas with daily troubleshooting, gathering data and analysis of available process information Support development of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) as required in support of DCS/process control projects Specify DCS and other process control equipment to be used in production areas that meet all governing applicable industry and regulatory standards and protocols Provide technical support for process design functions by preparing standards, equipment specifications and verification of compliance with codes, standards, sound design principles, etc. Serve as DCS/controls engineering representative on capital projects implemented throughout the plant including testing and startup assistance Reviews all KPI data collections and verifies integrity and accuracy of the data. Understands the KPI’s and metrics that have an impact on the RCM to understand gaps and opportunities Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of process controls experience in an industrial environment; chemical manufacturing preferred Must be familiar with DCS standards and protocols Familiarity with Pi data management system preferred Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Able and willing to participate in off-shift call duty All In With Olin Olin is a global leader in chemical manufacturing and ammunition, with a legacy built on innovation, safety, and accountability.
