Senior Manager, Software Engineering The Senior Manager, Software Engineering leads the Software Engineering competency for Order Management Digital Transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for building a high-performing engineering organization that delivers scalable, secure, and business-focused software solutions while establishing engineering standards, technical strategy, architecture governance, and talent development practices. You’ll partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Delivery Managers, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to accelerate digital transformation across Order Management, ERP modernization, customer onboarding, workflow automation, and emerging business capabilities. What You Will Do
Lead and develop high-performing Software Engineering competency across Order Management Digital Transformation initiatives. Establish engineering culture, technical excellence standards, software development practices, and clear accountability for engineering outcomes. Define and communicate the technical vision, architecture roadmap, modernization strategy, and engineering standards across web, integration, cloud, ERP-related, and emerging platforms. Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Delivery Managers, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic business objectives. Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent transformation initiatives supporting Order Management & Business operations. Drive CI/CD, DevOps, test automation, observability, platform reliability, software quality, and operational excellence initiatives. Champion modern engineering approaches including cloud-native development, API-first design, reusable services, automation, and AI-assisted engineering practices. Build organizational depth through mentoring, career development, succession planning, technical growth programs, and future engineering leader development. Communicate technical strategy, delivery status, risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities to senior business and technology leaders. What You Need to Succeed: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Required: 10+ years of software engineering experience. Required: 5+ years of technical leadership and people management
