Job Purpose
Support success of the VQD Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Asset Condition Management (ACM) program by pursuing asset uptime improvements through the use of predictive maintenance technologies and the elimination of equipment failure causes through the improvement of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) rates. Grow awareness of proper machine operation and early warning of developing problems to prevent production interruptions. Promote the value of predictive technologies within the company. Support new asset deployment and PdM technology implementation. Own the VQD RCA process for B/C Shifts and become the shop Subject Matter Expert for RCA and Countermeasure creation tracking. Evaluate site CMMS system (Maximo) PMs for applicability & effectiveness, then update/improve tasks to prevent failures and critical equipment performance misses.
Key Accountabilities
• Execution of defined Predictive Maintenance (PDM) strategies and activities
• Implementation of new PdM technical strategies and activities
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CM development, and Troubleshooting support
• Analysis of CMMS PMs/CMs/BDMs to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and reduce breakdown potential
• Identify VQD Equipment Characteristic Improvement Projects & Scope/Plan/Execute
• Regional Predictive Maintenance (PDM) collaboration and benchmarking for PdM technology and best practices
• Develop capability of self through formal and internal training
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
• Bachelors of Science or 2 yr technical degree (Robotics, Equipment, Electrical, Mechanical) with experience or equivalent engineering / maintenance experience
Minimum Experience
• 2+ years operation and recovery of manufacturing equipment based on education
