Operate Tall form spray dryer to specifications and other assigned duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. To know and monitor the process flow in their area 2. To understand, troubleshoot and control the process in their area using Honeywell computer systems 3. To understand and operate the equipment in their area 4. To understand and adhere to the following: a. Safety Policies b. Operating Procedures c. Good Manufacturing Practices & Product Safety Manual 5. To perform necessary analytical tests and mathematical computations to accomplish above duties 6. Communicate with Supervision and other workers to insure proper flow of information 7. To maintain an orderly and clean work area, which supports our sanitation guidelines 8. Work Rotating 12-hour shifts FITNESS REQUIREMENTS: 1. Lift bags of product weighing 44 pounds – Frequently (10 bags per hour) 2. Lift container of chemicals weighing 50 pounds – Occasionally (1 per shift) 3. While in a sitting position, reaching arms to change nozzles out - Occasionally 4. Push/pull material and/or Reaching to adjust equipment up to 50 pounds - Frequently 5. Climb ladders up to 12 feet high – Every 4 hours 6. Climb stairs up to 10 flights - Occasionally 7. Climb into and out of forklift - Occasionally 8. Handling, Fingering, Feeling, & Using Hands Dexterously – Continually 9. Standing, Balancing, Bending, Stooping, Kneeling – Occasionally 10. Sitting, Walking, Climbing, Squatting, Crouching & Twisting Upper Body - Frequently 11. Typing using a keyboard up to 2 hours a day - Occasionally 12.
