Must have Japanese citizenship or Eligible work in Japan permit holder POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Executive supports the execution of The Westin Yokohama’s marketing and communication activities across both digital and offline channels. This role is responsible for understanding the hotel’s marketing strategies, campaign objectives, target audiences, and key messages, and translating them into clear, engaging, and brand-aligned communications. Key responsibilities include the creation and coordination of marketing collateral such as flyers, property signage, digital screens, menus, and promotional materials, as well as supporting social media content and other digital communications. Working closely with internal departments and external partners, the Marketing Executive ensures that all marketing communications are accurate, timely, visually engaging, and aligned with Westin and Marriott brand standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and able to understand the purpose behind each marketing initiative and translate it into effective execution. CRITICAL TASKS 1. Marketing Communication & Content Creation • Understand marketing strategies, campaign objectives, target audiences, and key messages, and translate them into effective guest-facing communications. • Create and update marketing materials including flyers, posters, property signage, digital screens, menus, and other promotional collateral. • Develop clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy and visual content for hotel promotions. • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather accurate information and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. • Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with Westin and Marriott brand guidelines. 2. Social Media & Digital Communication • Support the planning and execution of social media content across the hotel’s official channels. • Create and coordinate social media content, including copy, visuals, and short-form video. • Translate hotel promotions and campaign messages into engaging content appropriate for each digital channel. • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather content and ensure timely publication. • Monitor basic social media performance and support regular reporting and content optimization. 3. Marketing Collateral & Property Communication • Manage the production and regular update of property signage, menus, brochures, flyers, digital screens, and other guest-facing materials. • Coordinate the production process, including proofreading, translation, internal approvals, printing, and installation. • Ensure pricing, dates, product details, and promotional information are accurate and up to date. • Proactively update materials in line with new campaigns, seasonal promotions, and operational changes. • Maintain organized archives of marketing assets for efficient reuse and adaptation. 4. Marketing Coordination & Campaign Execution • Support the execution of hotel marketing campaigns and promotional activities across Rooms, F&B, Spa, Weddings, MICE, and other business areas. • Work closely with internal departments to understand their business needs and translate them into appropriate marketing deliverables. • Coordinate with external agencies, designers, photographers, printers, and other vendors as required. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. • Support marketing performance tracking, data collection, and reporting as required. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES • Previous experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, social media, or a related field preferred. • Experience in hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, F&B, retail, or other consumer-facing industries is an advantage. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese. •
