Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Building Surveyor to join our established Education Building Surveying team. Working with universities, schools, academy trusts and government clients across the UK, you'll lead the delivery of capital works projects and provide expert building surveying advice across diverse education estates. We're looking for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who can manage multiple commissions, build lasting client relationships and help drive business growth. You'll work closely with clients, lead service delivery and support the development of junior team members, playing a key role in the continued growth of our specialist team. Role Accountabilities
Lead the delivery of capital works projects across education sector portfolios. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Deliver professional building surveying services, including condition surveys, technical advice and asset inspections. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Manage project finances and performance to support successful commercial outcomes. Provide clear communication and reporting to clients, project teams and senior stakeholders. Mentor and support junior Building Surveyors, helping to develop technical capability across the team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified in Building Surveying. MRICS qualified or working towards chartership. Strong technical building surveying expertise with experience delivering capital works projects. Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills. Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing education sector estates. Commercial awareness and experience managing project risk, programme and quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative leader who enjoys developing people and growing client relationships.
