The Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality system solutions that support business objectives. This role is responsible for analyzing business needs, eliciting and documenting requirements, supporting solution design, facilitating testing, and ensuring successful implementation of technology enhancements and new capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements that drive effective solutions. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand, gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and system requirements Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, workflow optimization, and other enhancements Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules Perform impact analysis to identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, downstream effects, and implementation considerations Act as a liaison between business users, Product Managers, Architects, Developers, QA, and operational teams to deliver technology solutions Support solution design and ensure requirements and proposed solutions align with business objectives and customer needs Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, UAT, release activities, and production validation Perform testing activities, defect triage, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutions Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, user stories, process flows, traceability matrices, business rules, and operational procedures Investigate production issues, coordinate root-cause analysis with technical teams, and support issue resolution Ensure delivered solutions meet business, operational, compliance, quality, and customer requirements What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
