The Audio Technology Licensing organization develops scalable, portable, and high-performance audio technologies that can be integrated into a broad range of partner products and platforms. Role
Overview We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Integration) to join the Audio Technology Licensing Engineering team in China. This role focuses on the development, integration, validation, and deployment of Bose audio technologies into customer products and platforms . The successful candidate will work closely with customers, DSP engineers, acoustic engineers, product teams, and global engineering organizations to ensure Bose technologies are successfully integrated and optimized across diverse hardware and software environments. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with excellent problem-solving and customer engagement skills. This individual will play a key role in bridging technology development and customer deployment, ensuring successful commercialization of Bose licensed technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Integration & Deployment Integrate Bose audio technologies, algorithms, and tuning configurations into customer hardware and software platforms. Develop, customize, and maintain software components required for successful deployment of Bose technologies. Support technology bring-up, platform enablement, system integration, and production readiness activities. Validate software functionality, audio performance, system stability, and production quality across target platforms. Collaborate with DSP, acoustic, and system engineering teams to optimize system performance and user experience. Customer Technical Support Engage directly with customers throughout evaluation, development, integration, and product launch phases. Provide technical guidance on system architecture, software integration, debugging, and performance optimization. Support customer prototyping, tuning, validation, and issue resolution activities. Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for software and system-level technical issues. Represent the engineering team in customer-facing technical discussions and reviews. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with global engineering teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements and business objectives. Evaluate third-party hardware, software, and platform technologies to assess compatibility with Bose solutions. Contribute to integration best practices, development processes, and technical documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance deployment efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills Strong experience in embedded software or firmware development. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for software development, testing, automation, and debugging. Experience with RTOS and embedded
