The Buyer III is expected to serve as an informal leader within the team, providing coaching and support to other team members and solving the most complex problems or materials challenges. This is an onsite role in New Port Richey, FL . that reports to the Material Manager and is part of the Pall Aerospace Operations department.  The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.   The essential requirements of the job include:    Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle: RFQ, bid analysis, negotiation, award, and contract management Develop and execute commodity and supplier strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance. Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, including   ITAR, EAR, FAA, and AS9100 standards.   Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams on new product introduction (NPI) and design changes Drive cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, should-cost analysis, long-term agreements) Support inventory optimization and continuity of supply, especially for critical aerospace programs. Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and capacity constraints   Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Management with (3) years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing OR a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus five (5) years of experience. Strong experience in supplier negotiations and contract management Knowledge of aerospace materials (e.g., metals, composites, electronics) preferred Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Familiar with Manufacturing processes Understanding of regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR preferred) Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Must be able to work at the computer for prolonged periods of time. Frequently sitting, twisting, and bending. Be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to travel - with approximately 10% domestic travel.
