Successful candidates will demonstrate a willingness to learn, adopt, and apply AI technologies responsibly to solve complex business and engineering challenges. This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work from home on Friday.

Responsible for architecture, project ownership, and team leadership. Lead team(s) of talented software developers in building applications and platforms using modern object oriented programming languages. Act as a player-coach, who can mentor & coach highly productive team members. Promote can-do attitude, engineering mindset and collaboration as fundamental team values. Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engineering excellence. Champion the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices to improve developer productivity, code quality, platform reliability, and operational efficiency. Leverage AI-powered monitoring, anomaly detection, replayability, and observability capabilities to improve system resiliency, incident response, root cause analysis, and customer experience. Partner with engineering and product teams to identify opportunities for intelligent processes that reduce manual effort, accelerate sales workflows, and improve operational effectiveness across CoStar platforms. Lead a team in designing, implementing, and governing AI-powered solutions including skills, agents, tools, and workflow automations that enhance both internal productivity and customer-facing products. Promote responsible AI adoption by ensuring solutions adhere to security, privacy, governance, and quality standards. Manage and coordinate projects within teams and across departments. Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices  Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college Track record of commitment to prior employers 5+ years’ experience in web development and database
