The AWS Partner Organization is looking for a Partner Business Development Manager to drive the strategy and execution for market-leading Programs designed to differentiate highly skilled, trusted AWS Partners in this era of rapid technological transformation. This role is responsible for end-to-end strategy and execution of our key differentiation program; AWS Specialization Program. This includes ownership of program governance, partner enablement, operational mechanisms, and cross-functional coordination to ensure the program is running effectively and delivering value to partners and customers in a rapidly evolving AI-driven landscape. This individual owns holding a high bar for program quality, managing competing internal priorities, and driving continuous improvement across the portfolio — including identifying how AI and automation can be leveraged to scale programs and improve the partner experience. Key job responsibilities - Own end-to-end program execution for AWS Specialization Programs — manage program governance, lead the launch roadmap, develop new benefits, and drive partner portfolio growth, - Solve complex business challenges through programmatic solutions; partner with technical, marketing, systems, and field stakeholders on program design and requirements. Build strong relationships across partner development, field, and technical teams — define roadmap priorities, deliver actionable insights, and drive outcomes through others by equipping teams with the tools, data, and context to execute scalable solutions - Define, track, and report on program metrics across weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews; own goal-setting, performance reporting, and stakeholder communications cadence - Identify and drive operational excellence improvements based on business strategy, customer/partner behavior, and emerging technology trends A day in the life This role has a global responsibility and will work closely with delivery teams, specialist teams, partner development managers, solution architects, our partners, and our sales teams. Shape the future: Define and evolve program strategy to stay ahead of market shifts — including how AI, cloud-native, and emerging technologies change what "specialized" means for partners. Manage competing priorities: Balance requests from Specialization owners, field teams, and leadership while maintaining program quality and timelines. Drive alignment globally: Work across regional teams, product, and engineering to ensure programs are consistent, scalable, and responsive to local market needs. Measure and iterate: Define success metrics, track program outcomes, and continuously refine the strategic direction based on what drives real partner and customer impact.
