The Visual Field Technician is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals. Schedule: This is a 40-hour Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:50 am to 3:30pm The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire. Location: 3802 COLBY AVENUE, Everett, WA 98201 (main office) 4011 172 Street NE, Arlington, WA 98223 Primary Responsibilities: Greets and escorts patients and documents visual field results Uses multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over the phone Ability to perform patient outreach via telephone File and maintain medical records Perform referral and prior authorization documentation promptly First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experience Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record Track status of all escalated information requests in Medical Record tracking database Assists with development and maintaining up to date documents, such as correspondence templates, policies and procedures and work instructions related to visual records Data entry and conducts audits within agreed upon timelines Runs reports and complete analysis within agreed upon timelines Maintains confidentiality and non-discoverability of all activities Conducting other non-clinical activities and performing all other duties as assigned Performs other duties as assigned What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications
