DevOps Engineer This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job scope/summary:     The DevOps   Engineer   delivers the Data Center Infrastructure consulting and Java scripting services related to data and web center transformation, consolidation, virtualization, automation & cloud solutions. The solutions address   the business   requirements and ensure that the requirements for   the management , IT   processes   and key technologies, such as a   web based   server infrastructure.        Job specifics/responsibilities:       The responsibility as a technical consultant   Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams    Maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure partner satisfaction   Cluster deployment & node lifecycle   incl. Golden Image design   Bare-metal automation    Patch, compliance and capacity management incl. health checks and reporting   Regularly supports the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer   Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains:   infrastructure or   virtualized platforms   Engages in technical problem solving across multiple   technologies often   needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation   Communicates with internal and external   customers   confidently and   demonstrates   the professionalism of the job family.         Key deliverables :   Build and operate the bare-metal, OS and cluster provisioning layer of the ACE environment   Support to the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer   Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains:   infrastructure or   virtualized platforms     Working relationships:       Internal:     A&PS Geo’s   GSD/CSC Teams     External:   AUDI Customer Germany     Education (degree) and professional experience required:   Degree in computer science or equivalent    Real life experience in Cloud project delivery, including the design phase   Other requirements :     Fluent English language    German Language as advantage   Willingness to travel abroad.     Personal skills and qualities:     Motivation to learn   Strong analytical skills   Ability to challenge complex customer requirements and address them with effective technology solutions    Excellent customer communication   skills   Detail and solution oriented and reliable   Strong Team player   Proactive, leadership-oriented attitude   Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team     Technical skills :     Infrastructure Management and Provisioning   Workload Orchestration   Workload managers   Kubernetes   What We Can Offer You: Health & Wellbeing We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
