Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of commodity and supplier management strategies under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in maintaining supplier agreements and related documentation that support business relationships between Applied Materials and its supply base. Participate in Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) processes to ensure alignment with sourcing and commodity plans. Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and disengagement activities as required. Analyze supplier, market, and spend data to support sourcing decisions and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement. Prepare reports, presentations, and business analyses to support supplier management initiatives and reviews. Functional Knowledge Demonstrates foundational knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, business, engineering, or related disciplines gained through academic coursework, internships, or project experience. Develops an understanding of supplier management processes, commodity strategies, and procurement best practices. Business Expertise Applies academic knowledge and analytical skills to support business objectives. Develops understanding of semiconductor industry supply chains, supplier relationships, and operational processes. Leadership No supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field completed within the last 12 months. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
