About this role: The Materials Planner ensures timely availability of materials for production at a Carrier manufacturing facility, managing requirements, replenishment, and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
Plans and manages material requirements for the production plan. Places and follow up on purchase and replenishment orders. Manages inventory levels, safety stocks, and reorder points. Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Analyzes and mitigates shortage risks. Maintains planning parameters in the ERP. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 2+ years of materials planning experience in manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel. Proven ability to manage material requirements, replenishment and inventory parameters. Experience coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate shortages. APICS certification (CPIM) preferred. Experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments. APICS certification (CPIM). Knowledge of supplier management. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
