Standard Job Description You will be the Operations Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Operations Team which is responsible for driving cross‑functional improvement initiatives across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for creating comprehensive project charters, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and leading end‑to‑end improvement efforts that elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: Develop value‑stream maps, conduct root‑cause analyses, and create detailed process maps to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze operational and financial data to uncover trends, variation, capacity constraints, and waste; develop dashboards and KPI reports. Establish baseline performance, set measurable targets, and define key performance indicators for each initiative. Collaborate with operational leaders, frontline staff, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, HR, and other functions to support stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and readiness assessments. Prepare regular performance updates, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership; escalate risks and barriers requiring executive support. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position is in Fort Worth, TX. Discover Fort Worth Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, operations management, or a related discipline. Minimum of three years of experience in operations, project management, process improvement, industrial engineering, quality, or a related function. Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, root-cause analysis, and value-stream mapping. Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage risks, coordinate resources, and deliver measurable results. Facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Desired Skills Master’s degree in Industrial engineering, operations management, organizational leadership, or a related discipline. Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into practical recommendations. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. Change-management certification, such as Prosci, CCMP, or an equivalent qualification. Knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability, control charts, hypothesis testing, regression, and measurement-system analysis. Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI,
