About the Role
At CrowdStrike, we don't just document products — we help stop breaches. As a Technical Writer for LogScale, you'll be at the heart of that mission, owning a critical area of our product documentation and shaping how customers and internal teams interact with one of the most powerful data platforms in cybersecurity. You'll play a key role in transforming complex technical content into clear, structured, multi-channel documentation that delivers the right information, to the right user, at the right time. This isn't a passive role — you'll own your content area end-to-end, driving strategy, priorities, and quality while collaborating with engineers, architects, and product managers who are building technology at a scale few companies ever reach. Your primary focus will be the data ingestion, egress, and deployment automation of LogScale — documenting the methods and tools that power LogScale environments for both CrowdStrike and its customers. What You'll Do : Own your domain. Take full responsibility for a defined area of documentation, including content strategy, priorities, and quality — and make it exceptional. Write for real users. Develop and maintain documentation (hosted at library.humio.com) with a user-centered approach, translating complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable content. Work at scale. Gain deep hands-on experience with a large-scale, distributed, multi-petabyte software solution and learn to communicate its complexity with clarity. Structure and optimize content. Apply structured authoring principles within our information architecture to maximize content reuse and consistency across channels. Sharpen your automation skills. Build and improve tools that streamline the documentation workflow, and refine generative AI prompts to enhance content production. Collaborate with the best. Partner with developers, architects, and product managers to build technical knowledge and ensure documentation accurately reflects how the product works — and what that means for customers. Champion consistency. Develop a deep appreciation for style guides and process documentation, and help drive scalability across the content team. Grow continuously. Immerse yourself in industry-standard tools, processes, and an SDLC environment that will sharpen both your technical and writing skills.
What You'll Need
Proven experience writing product documentation for software products, with a strong user-centered focus Proficiency with structured authoring technologies, including DocBook, DITA, and XSLT Strong working knowledge of API documentation, particularly GraphQL and REST Experience with source control (Git or Mercurial),
