Senior Software Engineer, Labs

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Partner with Product Manager (PM) and UX to navigate rapidly evolving requirements translating ambiguous product goals into concrete, well-scoped engineering plans Own end-to-end delivery of new capabilities, and infrastructure improvements. Make high volume and high quality code and design contributions. Provide technical leadership, and raise the technical bar across the team. Collaborate closely with other Flow engineering teams across model and media serving, web frontend, mobile, etc.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 2 years of experience with Backend, artificial intelligence, Generative AI Agent. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience developing accessible technologies.
