Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces) to join the P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Special Projects Dallas (SPD) team located in Richardson, TX . The AAS SPD program develops complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our customers. The selected candidate will serve as a technical leader on a team developing next generation Mission Systems architectures, requirements, interface, & behaviors utilizing Open Architectures. This ideal candidate will have experience conducting engineering reviews, owning system architecture structure and design, and sensor management while operating in a cross-functional agile environment. Experience in Mission Systems, Radar, Fusion, and defining multi-level security architecture is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a technical leadership role in a complex environment. This position will be 100% onsite in Richardson, TX. This position requires an active U.S. Top Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions.
Position
Responsibilities : Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Develop solutions that meet Open Mission Systems Architecture requirements Collaborate with customers to ensure needs, requirements, and commitments are being met Present to both internal and external stakeholders with requisite level of detail for the audience Support analyses to ensure it is driving toward improving needed architecture or requirements definition Support cross-Boeing program mission systems interchanges for maximum leverage and re-use Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 10+ yrs experience in development of Mission Systems 10+ yrs of experience in technical leadership of engineers 10+ experience in defining system architectures.

(Desired Skills/Experience): Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in avionics, Open Architecture, and/or electronics systems development.
