Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Risk & Quality (R&Q) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary In this role, you will support PwC's commitment to quality, professional standards and risk management. The role works closely with Partners, Directors and engagement teams across the business to promote consistent application of firm policies, regulatory requirements and quality standards. The successful candidate will provide practical risk and quality advice to engagement teams, support compliance monitoring activities and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the firm's system of quality management. This role is well suited to an experienced audit professional seeking to broaden their exposure beyond client-facing work into firm-wide governance, risk and quality management. Key accountabilities Risk and Quality (R&Q) Providing daily advice and consultation to client facing teams to ensure compliance with PwC Network policies, principles and standards in client/engagement acceptance, project delivery, reporting and documentation Assisting with Risk & Quality compliance monitoring, activities and reporting. Assisting projects to create, update and improve guidance materials to our practice Provide support and coaching to more junior team members Quality Management and Compliance Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the firm's System of Quality Management (SOQM). Monitor compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements and professional standards. Analyse findings from internal and external inspections and assist in developing remediation plans. Track completion of quality and risk-related actions and report progress to leadership. Stakeholder Engagement Build effective working relationships with P artners, D irectors and employees across the firm. Support communications and awareness programmes relating to risk, quality and professional responsibilities. Deliver training sessions and workshops on risk and quality matters. Promote a culture of quality, accountability and professional scepticism across the firm. Participate in regional or network-driven quality and risk initiatives where required . Skills, qualifications and experience required Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, MICPA or equivalent. Approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience within a professional services environment. Strong background in external audit , preferably with experience managing audit engagements. Exposure to quality management, compliance, internal quality reviews or risk management would be an advantage. Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities. Good understanding of auditing standards, professional ethics and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of quality management principles and risk management frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Who is likely to succeed in this role?
