JOB ROLE: The Finance Manager manages the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Office. Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.
Responsible for driving internal, external and regulatory audit processes. Ensures processes and policies are in place and compliant in all departments. Trains Heads of Departments in audit processes and compliance for their disciplines. Ensures that regular on-going communication occurs with employees to create awareness of business objectives, communicate expectations, and recognize performance. Ensures that the P&L is accurate (i.e., costs are properly matched to revenue, costs are recorded in the proper accounts) and statements are delivered to appropriate individuals in a timely manner. Reconciles balance sheet. Ensures tax rates used for sales/use tax are current and proper amounts are collected and/or accrued.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with a strategic mindset, helping drive financial performance while supporting operational excellence. You will be a proactive leader with exceptional analytical skills, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and team development. Experience within the hospitality sector and a strong understanding of hotel performance drivers are highly desirable.
