The successful candidate should be excited about opportunities incorporating new technologies into the software development process. They should also be confident in their ability to maintain a development infrastructure and perform to customer specifications. This role will also be able to perform certain system administration functions to support development efforts. Strong documentation skills are a plus in this role. • Strong Technical Expertise: Proficient in coding, scripting, and automation tools. Knowledgeable in cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. • Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and tools. Familiar with threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, and security testing tools. • Continuous Learning: Stays updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and DevSecOps trends. Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. • Automation Mindset: Leverages automation to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines efficiently. Familiar with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and automated security testing tools. • Compliance and Governance: Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to information security. Ensures that DevSecOps practices comply with these standards. This position is contingent upon the program award expected in the winter of 2026.   #LI-CS1    The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:​ Performs tech planning, design, devel, integ, v&v for total syst life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle. Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles doc of program devel & analyzes syst capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input data acq, programming tech & controls. Ensures SW stds are met. Validates incorp of features & use cases into implemented designs Basic Qualifications
