Job Title: Associate Product Manager, Personal Care & Household Department: Global Product Innovation & Management Reports to: Director, Essential Oils & Personal Care Job Description: Contributes to the market research, ideation, management, development, and marketing of Personal Care & Household products. Owns assigned pieces of the product lifecycle - not full category strategy - working under the direction of the Director to execute the roadmap. This role is for consumer packaged goods (CPG), not digital product.
Job Responsibilities
Participates in the product development process for Personal Care & Household products, including formula, packaging, positioning, and marketing. Organizes product files and launch schedules for new products. Ensures constant communication between the product team and other departments, including purchasing, operations, R&D, regulatory, and creative services. Owns assigned product revisions, reformulations, and new product development workstreams, coordinating with the project management team as directed. Researches competitive products in the personal care and household space - identifies and evaluates product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintains research databases. Assists in the creation of business plans, content for marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, and market research tools. Accomplishes goals through ownership and accountability; explores opportunities to add value to department and company goals. Job Qualifications: 1-2 years of product development and management experience. Bachelor's degree or progress toward a marketing, business, or communications degree preferred. Some knowledge of the personal care or household products industry is preferred. Genuine enthusiasm for and interest in a marketing or product development career. Proven organizational skills. Be able to maintain confidentiality throughout the product development process. Proven writing skills. Must work well under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
