Valuation Control Analyst

Overview: The Valuation Control Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes. Responsibilities include: Developing and carrying out price testing for derivatives on FX and interest rates markets. Developing valuation adjustments methodologies and performing relevant calculations Compilation of data to produce detailed Valuation reports for Desk Heads, Controllers and Risk summarizing the valuation control results across the Business Ensuring appropriate regulatory reporting on monthly basis Creating and maintaining relevant process documentation Enhancing existing control framework by reviewing pricing processes, assessing potential coverage developments and implementing new tools to enhance control efficiency Developing strong working relationships with the Desk, Finance, Audit, Quant and Market Risk partners throughout the firm Ad-hoc projects that arise relating to further streamlining (or retirement) of existing systems or assisting in the introduction of new systems Performing ad hoc analysis on any new pricing issues Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant experience Preferred experience in Finance, Controllers, Accounting Excellent knowledge of Excel Good knowledge of banking products, especially in the Retail Banking area Understanding of accounting principles Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written form Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience What we can offer you By joining Citi Solutions Center Poland, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (currently up to 2 days working at home per week), but also (potentially, subject to final offer) receive a competitive base salary and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits which can include: Employer paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan contribution of 6% of employee’s pensionable earnings (PPE Program) Employer paid Private Medical Care Package for employees and Private Medical Care Packages for certain family members available at preferential rates Employer paid Life Insurance Program for employees and Life Insurance for certain family members available at preferential rates Employee Assistance Program financed by Employer Paid Parental Leave Program (maternity and paternity leave; statutory and 2 weeks additional paid paternity leave) Sport Card for employees subsidised via Social Benefits Fund and Sport Cards for certain family members available at preferential rates Additional benefits from Company’s Social Benefit Fund, in particular: Holidays Allowance, support for sport and cultural activities, team building events.
