Machine Operator

SLB is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, positive, and hard-working individual to join our team in Nisku, Alberta . The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment used in the production/repair of power section stator, a critical component of downhole hydraulic motors. This role supports efficient production operations by performing manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, following established procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.   Roles and Responsibilities Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with team members. Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. Manufacturing and repair of power section stators and related components used in drilling operations. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance activities. Identify and report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in failure investigations and corrective actions when required. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality. Follow SLB's quality, health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.   Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Diploma or technical training in Machining, Industrial Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset. Minimum two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or production environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Experience operating manufacturing or industrial equipment is preferred. Forklift & Overhead crane certification and experience are considered an asset. 5 th class or higher Power Engineering certification is considered an asset. Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require. Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
