What You’ll Do Own end-to-end staffing strategy and execution across the Maru Program. Partner closely with program leadership, recruiting, contracts, HR, security, and delivery teams to anticipate workforce needs and close staffing gaps. Develop and maintain staffing plans, forecasts, hiring priorities, and workforce pipelines. Identify, evaluate, and recommend candidates for mission-critical positions, balancing technical capabilities, experience, clearance requirements, and program needs. Monitor staffing metrics, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Coordinate personnel transitions, backfills, onboarding, and offboarding to minimize mission disruption. Build strong relationships with cleared professionals and maintain an engaged talent pipeline. Ensure staffing activities align with contractual requirements, organizational policies, security requirements, and customer expectations. Communicate staffing status, challenges, and solutions clearly to senior leadership and program stakeholders. Continuously improve staffing processes, tools, reporting, and workforce planning practices This position is telework friendly, but the candidate must be local to Gaithersburg, MD. Clearance Level Required: None. Note : Will be required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and be successfully adjudicated for SCI and pass a Polygraph examination.

Staffing Strategy & Coordination : Coordinate and execute staffing strategies across multiple roles within the Maru Program. Ensure that recruitment efforts align with program needs and timelines. Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition : Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to identify, screen, and present qualified candidates for open positions. Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates to meet program requirements. Staffing Needs Analysis : Regularly assess current program staffing levels, track resource utilization, and analyze skill gaps to inform recruitment efforts. Ensure appropriate staffing at all levels to meet mission milestones and program goals. Onboarding & Integration Support : Facilitate the onboarding process for new engineering staff, ensuring that all personnel are properly integrated into the program, meet customer security clearance requirements, and have the necessary training and resources to succeed in their roles. Collaboration & Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for all staffing-related matters between engineering teams, program managers, TA, and other departments. Keep stakeholders informed about staffing updates, personnel changes, and resource availability through regular reports and meetings. Metrics & Reporting : Track staffing progress and generate reports on staffing levels, hiring status, and employee retention. Ensure staffing data is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with customer and Leidos’ reporting standards. Compliance & Documentation : Ensure that all staffing-related activities adhere to customer security protocols, staffing policies, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential records of staffing decisions, employee clearances, and training certifications.
