A business process lead is responsible for identifying, designing, and testing operational improvements that increase coffeehouse capacity, improve partner experience, and enable faster customer service. This role combines industrial engineering, process design, operational analysis, and continuous improvement practices to solve complex business challenges as scale. As a business process lead, you will… Lead process improvement initiaves focused on increasing coffeehouse throughput, capacity, and operational simplicity Analyze operational performance data to identify constraints, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and process observations to understand current-state operations. Design and test new operation routine, station layouts, sequencing methods, and work processes. Develop capacity models to quantify operational impacts and support business decision-making. Partner with cross functional teams to evaluate new products, equipment and initiates from an operational perspective Communicate findings and recommendations to leaders through clear, concise, and data-supported storytelling. Travel to coffeehouses and field locations as needed to observe operations and validate solutions. We’d love to hear from people with: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field. 5+ years experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, operations consulting, continuous improvement, or related disciplines Experience using data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and support recommendations Experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, or service operations. Experience conducting pilot test and operational experiments Knowledge of Lean, Toyota Production System, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Industrial Engineering principles. Familiarity with labor standards, workflow design, or operational excellence methodologies.
