About the Role: We are seeking a Master Data Specialist, Material & Vendor, to support our Finance team. The Master Data Specialist, Material & Vendor, is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of master data management activities to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of material and vendor data across the organization. This role supports master data governance processes, maintains data standards and validation rules, manages shared service mailboxes, and assists with data publishing, maintenance, and project initiatives. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold data quality, support service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure compliance with established master data governance policies and procedures. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Create and activate material master records in accordance with established procedures, standards, and data governance requirements. Maintain material status throughout the product lifecycle to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Execute daily data synchronization, publication, and maintenance activities in compliance with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), 1WorldSync, and GS1 Canada requirements and service level agreements (SLAs). Process vendor creation and change requests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established quality standards. Verify that all vendor requests include the required approvals and supporting documentation prior to implementation in SAP. Perform data validation and quality
