Working closely with the Chief Engineer, you'll help lead a talented facilities team in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable building operations that create exceptional experiences for occupants and clients alike. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with technical expertise—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate at peak performance while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What your day-to-day will look like: Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders and preventive maintenance activities Monitor and maintain building automation systems to optimize energy efficiency and operational performance while reducing environmental impact Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they become problems, ensuring proactive maintenance and minimizing downtime Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations that align with JLL's commitment to shaping the future of real estate for a better world Respond to emergency situations and provide technical expertise to resolve building-related problems with urgency while protecting occupant safety and building integrity Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and compliance documentation using computerized maintenance management systems Collaborate with property management, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality facility services that create exceptional client experiences Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry best practices and JLL standards while supporting each other's wellbeing and professional growth Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities
