Job Title Account Manager About your role: As a Account Manager, you will manage operational relationships for assigned clients and support the quality delivery and maintenance of products and services. You will work with clients, Relationship Managers and teams across Fiserv to resolve service delivery needs, strengthen client satisfaction and identify opportunities that support long-term growth. Your work helps clients achieve operational outcomes with consistency, clarity and accountability.
What you'll do
Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, coordinating resources across Fiserv to address service delivery questions, issues and escalations. Manage client operational relationships by monitoring service performance, identifying risks and driving issue resolution through completion. Partner with Relationship Managers to support client satisfaction, revenue growth opportunities and positive client references. Translate client needs into actionable plans with clear owners, timelines and expected outcomes. Communicate service updates, issue status and resolution plans to client contacts and internal stakeholders. Support governance routines for complex client accounts, including meeting preparation, follow-up documentation and progress tracking. Use client feedback and operational insights to recommend process improvements that strengthen the client experience. Experience you'll need to have: 4+ years of experience in account management, client service or relationship support within banking, financial technology or the financial services industry. Experience managing client escalations, service delivery issues and resolution plans across internal teams. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, to create client-ready updates, reports and documentation. Experience communicating with client contacts and internal stakeholders through written updates, meetings and issue-resolution discussions. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: Knowledge of Fiserv systems, products or operational support processes. Experience supporting complex client accounts with multiple contacts, solution sets and governance routines. Project management experience, including tracking milestones, dependencies, risks and action items. Experience identifying client needs and developing plans that improve service delivery outcomes.
