In this role you will join our Centralized Field Engineering (CFE) organization providing operational support for the United States Air Force worldwide deployable program.    This unaccompanied role is mission essential and will be onsite in an undisclosed location in the United Kingdom for an international assignment with additional compensation.   Ability to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.   Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.  The position is also contingent upon the customer determining a follow-on location (non-UK).

Perform product implementation, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Focused on team-oriented tasks while supporting the customer’s mission and initiatives. Ensure training requirements (customer and company) are kept up to date and completed ahead of schedule. Monitor, analyze and characterize the performance of complex data processing systems. Trace isolated faults and distinguish between hardware and software fault sources. Recommend, initiate, and oversee actions to correct faults. Maintain sensor equipment on aircraft. Provide support on the U.S. Air Force flight-line to operate and conduct pre-mission activities. Provide support for aircraft checkout prior to flights. Integrate and updated software and hardware. Work with a global team of users, analysts, and other contractor personnel, and customers.   Special Work Conditions Working rotating shifts is required. Travel and long working hours are anticipated. Must be able to lift 40 pounds overhead and able to sit for long periods of time. Must be willing and able to get all inoculations required by the US military. Must be able and ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice. Must be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions, etc.).

You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience. Experience with military, data processing, system administration, radar, IR, or radio frequency. Experience and expertise in sensor payload maintenance. Experience with U.S. Air Force Flight line courtesies and regulations. Experience using UNIX. Comprehensive knowledge of Solaris and RADAR theory.
