Job Description
The Opportunity: This position is responsible for supporting successful launch readiness of new toy programs through capacity and capability planning, supply & demand match and alignment, and cross-functional coordination between vendors and functional teams. This role partners closely with Product Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing Partners to ensure new product introductions are delivered to project timelines, manufacturing readiness requirements and business objectives. Position
Responsibilities: Coordinate capacity and capability planning activities for new toy introductions across global manufacturing partners, ensuring launch readiness and alignment with production requirements. Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning, and Manufacturing Partners to assess manufacturing feasibility, align capacity and material availability with demand forecasts, and identify cost optimization opportunities. Monitor manufacturing readiness, capacity utilization, and production ramp-up performance, proactively identifying risks, constraints, and escalation needs, while coordinating mitigation and contingency plans to support supply continuity. Serve as a key liaison between external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional communication, program reviews, and timely updates on status, risks, issues, and recovery plans. Coordinate the resolution of issues related to manufacturing capability, tooling readiness, production capacity, material availability, quality, and schedule adherence to support successful product launches. Develop and maintain capacity analyses, readiness assessments, planning reports, and performance metrics to support decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement, strategic supply chain initiatives, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Merchandising, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, product industrialization, supply chain planning, or manufacturing engineering; toy industry experience is an advantage. Experience managing new product introduction (NPI) programs from concept through production launch is preferred. Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes and global supply chains. Detail-oriented, independent, well organized with a proactive attitude Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. A good team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
